At Squishable, we come to work every day as our unique, authentic selves. We always put the customer first, no matter what
As part of our dress code, the Squishable apron is the star of the show. We proudly show it off by wearing it with attire in the approved color palette.
We positively represent the Squishable brand by wearing clean, wrinkle-free, and hemmed attire in good repair

ACCEPTABLE ATTIRE
APRON
The Squishable apron is the star of the show, so there should be no distractions to i.t
Aprons must be worn at all times while clocked in
Clothing and accessories must be worn beneath the apron
A maximum of two (2) Squishable pins may be worn on the apron
All Squishable employees will receive one (1) apron, so proper care is essential
Aprons may not be taken home unless when laundering. Aprons should be laundered a minimum of 1x per month
Aprons should be steamed weekly to ensure they are free of wrinkles
Aprons should be lint rolled at the beginning of and throughout each shift to remain as free and clean from Squishable fur as possible
Aprons must be hung on staff member hooks in the back room when clocking out for a break and at the end of each shift
Aprons must be removed prior to eating or drinking
TOPS
Must provide appropriate coverage; low-cut tops are not permitted
Must cover the midriff at all times
Shirt or blouse (sleeveless is acceptable however, armpits must be covered)
Solid T-shirts (may not be undergarment t-shirts), polo (short and long sleeved), oxford shirts
Camisole (only when worn under a blouse, jacket, blazer, or sweater), vest, jacket, blazer, long tunic, or sweater
Shirts may have subdued or muted patterns so long as the background color is black.
PANTS
Pants must be worn at the natural waistline
No higher than 4” above the knee and may not drag on the floor
Full-length, ankle-length, or mid-length pants (capris)
Non-athletic, business-appropriate leggings (only when worn with a long tunic, sweater, or dress)
Black denim may be worn but must not be faded and must be free of rips, tears, or holes
DRESSES AND SKIRTS
FOOTWEAR
Clean, scuff-free, and solid
No rips, tears, holes, or fraying shoe laces
Covers the top of the foot with a supported heal and toe
Footwear may have subdued or muted patterns so long as it does not distract from the apron and overall appearance
Socks and/or hosiery must be worn

UNACCEPTABLE ATTIRE
Any attire with holes, tears, see-through, or too revealing (i.e. no bare midriffs, low cut tops, tube tops, off-the-shoulder tops, halter tops, crop tops)
Faded attire
Graphics, typography, or large logos
Hooded tops
Sweat shirts/sweat pants
Gym attire (i.e., basketball shorts/shoes, athletic t-shirts, etc.)
Beach attire (swim shorts, bathing suits, flip flops, etc)
Visible undergarments
GENERAL APPEARANCE / HYGIENE
During all work hours, employees will appear neat and professional. Employees are expected to be appropriately attired and well-groomed and ensure that attire is clean, in good repair and wrinkle-free.
All employees must maintain appropriate hygiene standards, including but not limited to excessive personal odor and/or fragrance, ensuring personal hygiene cleanliness, etc.
Nail and toenail polish should not be chipped or cracked
Tattoos that are visible may not contain content that may be offensive, racist, lewd, vulgar, or depict behavior that is not permitted in the workplace, including but not limited to drinking, drug use, hate speech, harassing images or words, etc
Jewelry is subject to but not limited to the same limitations as tattoos
Hats and/or head coverings may be worn in the workplace, provided they do not display any content that may be offensive, racist, lewd, vulgar, or depict behavior that is not permitted in the workplace, including but not limited to drinking, drug use, hate speech, harassing images or words, etc
OSHA GUIDELINES
When working in areas where there is a possibility of foot injuries due to falling or rolling objects (stockroom, processing shipment, etc.), employees may not wear open-toed shoes; more protective footwear is required.
