View a Sales Report
Required Hardware: Square POS (iOS application)
By default all Store Managers and Key-Holders will have different views when they enter the Sales Reporting section of square. Sales Associates do not have access to reporting.
Step 1: In the Square App navigate to reports. From the bottom right hand corner select "MORE"
Step 2: In the left hand column, middle of the page, select "REPORTS"
Step 3: In the reports tab, select "SALES"
Step 4: (Store Managers) - Your view will auto default to the sales reporting for the entire day and display items in a chart visual.
- On the top of your screen you will see the date.
- Click on the date to open the "CUSTOMIZE REPORTS"
- Scroll down until you see "ALL DATE" ensure it is checked into the on position (it is blue not gray)
- In the top right corner select "DONE"
- You may also want to change your view to be similar to that of a key-holders. To do so select "SHOW DETAILS" to return to the chart visuals click it once more.
Step 5: (Key-Holders) - Your view will auto default to the sales reporting for a specific period of time
- On the top of your screen you will see the date.
- Click on the date to open the "CUSTOMIZE REPORTS"
- Scroll down until you see "ALL DATE" ensure it is checked into the on position (it is blue not gray)
- In the top right corner select "DONE"
There may be times when a key-holder or store manager wishes to view the sales from a particular shift or timeframe. When in the CUSTOMIZE REPORTS settings you can deactivate "ALL DAY" and instead populate a specific time frame and filter by all team members or the employee themself.
